Blue-9 Klimbs
Blue-9 Klimbs are a core and critical piece of my training equipment. I use them extensively for:
- Modular build for K9 Functional Agility
- Directionals
- Conditioning and Strength Training
- Platform Training
Because of the ease of storage and portability, I can change my agility setup on a daily basis giving my K9 a more varied and productive education.
Blue-9 Klimb legs store underneath so transport and Winter storage is a breeze.

In the example below, I am using the Blue-9 Klimbs as a part of a K9 Functional Agility setup where K9 Prize is practicing direction and control from a distance including her ladder work as well as small span jumps. There is some mild tippiness at these build heights, however this is something that she has worked up to in terms of core body control. (The Klimbs DO interlock if you are looking for more stability. In this case I purposefully retained some mild tippiness in the setup.)
Back in 2020 during the shut down, I started collecting Blue-9 Klimbs. I found that they provided interest to the my Nosework setups and gave me more options for creating online educational content (examples below!). Interestingly I found that adding an element of climbing to searching enhanced my dog’s engagement while searching. I loved the configurability of the Blue-9 Klimb system and when I could afford it, I added to my collection.
Eventually I obtained a wholesale account with Blue-9. I continue to use them in all manner of dog training and have found them essential in training a working K9. The K9 Functional Agility setups would be possible with more traditional equipment (such as pallets, etc), however the weight, configurability, portability, and ease of storage make them my Go To.
I consider Blue-9 Klimbs to be an extremely valuable piece of equipment for anyone who spends time training their dog.
