Thank you for this cool description of how to build a dog’s confidence. I have a few questions in relation to what in your opinion it is best to help the dog, if you accidentally make a search that is too difficult, how do you help his dog best? Do you interrupt the search? or do you go closer to the scent, perhaps looking at the location of the scent? and in that way does the dog tell that the smell is here? or do you put a treat on top of the scent?
Sincerely
Sus

Great podcast, I like the analogy you used with the kids learning math. Just another thing to consider when setting searches. Oh, Labradozer. That was me, ; )
Excellent explanation. All true. Thank you.
