Do I need to download any software?

Nope!  When you register for the webinar you will receive a link from AnyMeeting.  All you have to do is click on the link at the time of the webinar and POOF!  you’re in…

What is the suggested way to view the webinars live?

I suggest using a computer rather than a tablet or smartphone.  Additionally, fewer issues have been reported if you use Chrome or Firefox as your browser.  These browsers are best supported by AnyMeeting.

What if I can’t join the webinar live because of other commitments?

No problem!  I record the webinars.  After the recording has been processed (usually a couple of hours), I email everyone who pre-registered with a link to the recording.  You can watch it at your leisure!

Can I watch the recording more than once?

Absolutely!  You can watch the recording as many times as you would like.  Please note that you place in the recording will not be saved, so you might have to fast foward if you can’t watch the whole thing in one sitting.

This sounds great!  When should I plan to log in to the webinar for the live version?

I suggest that you log in at least 10 minutes early.  This gives us a chance to resolve connectivity or sound issues prior to the webinar starting.

What if I experience technical difficulties at the time of the webinar?

Keep in mind that the webinars are LIVE.  Once I start, I am unable to answer emails or messages as it’s not fair to those watching.  This is the reason why you need to plan to log in a little early.  However, you will still receive the recording when the webinar is complete so you won’t miss the material!

Can I share the link to the webinar recordings with my friends?

No.  I’m sorry.  These links are just for you.  It would be unfair to me (akin to stealing) if you share your link.  Scent work is my fulltime job so doing things like webinars pays my bills!

Can I register using PayPal?

I wish that was the case.  Unfortunately due to technical reasons, I can only take credit cards. 

What if I miss registering in time?

I do sell the recordings after the fact…. HOWEVER, it is more expensive this way!  There are no discounts on purchased recordings and the price is slightly higher than registering ahead of time.  If you think you might be interested in a topic, I would suggest pre-registering for it so that you can save money!

Do you offer Discount Promo Codes?

Yes!!  Students of Fenzi Dog Sports Academy and return registerants qualify for a discount!  Simply enter the Promo Code at the time of registration.

How long will the recordings be available to watch?  Do they expire?

Nope!  As long as I am doing webinars, you will have access to your recording!

I see sometimes you give a webinar hosted by Fenzi Dog Sports Academy.  What is the difference?

I don’t adminster the FDSA webinars.  Occasionally I get the opportunity to give a webinar through FDSA.  The difference is that the recordings are NOT available for purchase after the fact and Promo codes do NOT apply.  Visit the FDSA website for information on the administration of FDSA webinars.

What are webinars like?

My webinars include slides, sometime videos and Q&A!  It’s a topic led discussion related to the sport of scent/nose work.  Q&A is extensive and. make every effort to answer each and every question.

What is the difference between a webinar and a podcast?

Webinars are viewable and can include video.  They are also interactive with Q&A.  My podcasts are only listenable, kind of like a radio show.  My podcasts are available (currently free) here and on iTunes.  Podcasts do not go into as much depth as webinars.  They are informative but much shorter and less dense with information.

How long are the webinars?

Since I try to answer any and all questions, we often run 1.5 hours.  You don’t need to stay on the whole time though if you can’t.  Keep in mind you will get the recording!

How do you send the webinar links?  Are they stored anywhere?

I email out the links.  You don’t have an account page or anything like that so you will need to keep the email.  If you lose the email, you can contact me and I will resend you the link.  You can contact me here through my website.

Do I have to give you my email address when I register?

Yes.  I need the correct address in order to send you the link to join and the link for for the recording!  If you mistype your email address, please contact me so that I can fix it on the backend.

Do you sell email addresses?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!  Your email address is only used for adminstration of webinars.  I will occasionally email you with notice of a new webinar (including discount codes) but that’s the only way I will be using your address.

What if I registered and did not receive a link?

It probably went to Junk Mail.  Do a search for a link coming from AnyMeeting.   If you still can’t find it, email or message me on Facebook and I will resend you the link.  Keep in mind that I cannot do this once the webinar is underway!

I’m on the East Coast.  Why do you only schedule these on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 PM EST?

I schedule the webinars according to when I can fit them into my teaching schedule and by scheduling them late on the East Coast, folks on the West Coast can still join after their workday!

If I log in to the webinar, will other people see I am there?

Nope!  Not unless you introduce yourself in the chat window or ask a question!  I can see that you’ve joined but no one else can.

Are tickets limited?

Due to overwhelming interest, I have recently upgraded my account to allow for more seats.  If you want to join there should be room!
